Problem:  How to get agreement on a new message from a large group of Founders, Board Members, employees etc.
The United Nations Association of Greater Boston's role is to help promote the good work that the United Nations does in promoting peace and stability in the world. The Association also underwrites education programs for young people. The challenge was how to get agreement on a new message from a diverse group of backers including, possibly, a new name, about what the Association actually did, whom were they really tring to sell to, and how the Association addressed their interests. The main message session accomplished all of the above within one hour. One unanticipated result was that it rejuvinated enthusiasm for the Association among many of the participants as they created a new message that they liked, and reflected the good work that that the Assocaition did.
