Problem:  How to introduce a new vision
InvestNI is a Northern Ireland agency responsible for convincing companies to locate in Northern Ireland as well as promoting Northern Ireland companies in other parts of the world. However, Northern Ireland is interested in becoming a world leader in telemedicine and decided to make a major commitment to it. To Invest NI it was a question of whom were they would be selling to, what were they selling, and what were the key interests of the prospects that they were addressing? The main message process solved these problems and set the framework, as well, for main messages for other InvestNI activities such as financial services. One unanticipated result was the positive impact on the morale of the participants as they created a message that they felt would, actually, help them succeed with a new vision for connected health.
